Thank you for being so patient with me. I know I haven't written in a while.
This motherhood lark is rather all consuming, but in the rare afternoons that I do have free time I have been seeking out ways to treat myself and feed my soul.
Winter is not particularly my favorite season – the air, the changes afoot… but there has been something so unbelievably spectacular about this winter that it has charged me up like a battery. All my family birthdays and Anniversary comes in Winter so i have to gear up and enjoy.
I love cake and lover for Tea. So what better way to celebrate the season and my Anniversary than to hop, skip and jump and indulge in some glorious afternoon tea with my husband.
We chose Laura Ashley The Tea Room Solihull for celebrating and If you’re not familiar with it , you’ve been missing out something truly. A magical spot to meet a friend for tea, wine or afternoon tea.
We were given a cute table decorated with Confetti, a card and a Anniversary wish cake. What more we could ask for. Something we haven't expected either.
We are vegetarians so options are limited for us but the sandwiches, scones, mince pies, cake all that were served was scrumptious and yummy.
They catered to our dietary requirements very well and made us feel very special.
Coming to my outfit, i chose a dress which is very cute and formal.
It was a Midi Length dress which has pleats on the bottom, a collar and I love it.
Paired with a coat and burgundy heels it was a perfect outfit.
After the Afternoon tea we were so full that we decided to go and see some Christmas Lights at one of my favorite places Stratford-Upon-Avon.
They had some Victorian Christmas Market set up for just 3 days so we didn't want to miss the chance to see it. Here are some of the pics for you to enjoy.
